Dice says Battlefield 3 for PS3 will be very similar to PC

Like all of us, gamers, are used to reading before any cross-platform game launching, DICE has not done different and said the year’s most anticipated game Battlefield 3 for PS3 will be similar to the PC, it will be difficult to find any differences. (which normally means we have dumbed it down to the console level for the pc)

Patrick Bach, executive producer at DICE has said he is not worried about the comparisons that will come after the game is released, because there won’t be many things to be compared. But as everyone knows, when you run games on PCs no console is capable of beating them.

Xenoblade Chronicles gets European special edition

Xenoblade Chronicles is an excellent RPG for Wii, was released in June 2010 and it was a big hit in Japan. The only problem with this game is that it only exists in an Asian version.

They are finally about to launch the European version of the game, completely in English (yay~!). Europe will be the first blessed continent to receive the launch in September and after that the game will be officially released in America (i hope).
There’s a good opportunity for those who have not played yet this wonderful RPG.

ere’s an excerpt from the European version.

Xbox announces partner for 3D gaming

Update: Here's a statement direct from Microsoft US on the partnership and the future of 3D Xbox 360 gaming:
3D games are available today on Xbox 360 and will continue to evolve. Today, you can buy a 3DTV and wear glasses to play games like Avatar and "Batman: Arkham Asylum." The promotional partnership with LG announced in South Korea today is specific to the South Korean market, but is further evidence that as 3D adoption grows, Xbox 360 will support 3D games and entertainment.
So LG and Xbox Teaming up for the long run? I’ve said it before Cinema style 3D is the future for console gaming no batteries running out, no expensive glasses, up to 4 person 3D. With Sony announcing that it’s going to start making Cinema style 3D TVs soon my guess is active is dead for gaming.

Magic the gathering 2012

Some of you may love the card game magic and finally be happy it’s coming to video game form. Though I have to say I disagree with the overall 9/10 IGN gives it in this video. The game play looks stale and no little monsters fighting on the cards or even nice visual effects or music.

I looks basically like every other port over to the video game that the company has done in the past some of the new game modes do look interesting though. If you have friends and like to play co-op this is the game for you as it finally integrates that feature a little too late in my opinion. If you’re a Magic fan pick it up otherwise, leave it.

Classic Game of Atari can become a movie!

It is normal to see a film-maker turning a famous game into movie, but when it comes to Asteroids is a bit weird.
Director Roland Emmerich, famous for its disaster and action movies like Independence day, also the day after tomorrow and more recently 2012, will direct an adaptation of Asteroids, a classic Atari video game.
Considering that it’s a game with no narrative or clear story, you can build any story over this game that could make good sense to this “antique” game, here’s a short synopsis of what we should expect from a movie based on the game.
As I said before, since the game from 1979 and it doesn’t have “a story”, the film will relate a story about the life of the last human survivors who now have to carry on in life colonies in an Asteroid belt. They believe the aliens that dominate their territory were benevolent and rescued them from the Earth's destruction. At one point, they discover that, in fact, the aliens were responsible for the end of the planet.

Possible FF VII-2 coming?

Final Fantasy VII-2 will be produced one day.

The person who said this game will actually be released one day was the producer Yoshinori Kitase, he has worked with the franchise since its early days.

Final Fantasy VII is the
most idolized game of the Final Fantasy series by fans, and in addition to confirming that they will begin to develop a follow up story. Though this game is already being considered a remake of Final Fantasy VII with the same story but with changes to its graphics and other small things, well, for now it’s only a promise.
